S1 – 5K Event
A reminder to all S1 pupils, this will take place on Tuesday 1 May during normal PE lesson. Start times are displayed in the PE department.
Entry to PE
Games Hall 3 is now in use for exams. A reminder to all students that they must be quiet on entry to the PE department. There will be no lunchtime clubs available during May. These will restart on the change of timetable.
SQA Exam Timetable
Any pupils with queries regarding their SQA timetable should report them to the school office before close of school Friday.
Mrs McGlashan will deal with any issues on her return to school next week.
A reminder that all PC forms must be handed in today to confirm places on the team. Students must see Miss MacLaine at break time if there is an issue.
Lost and found
Items of clothing left in the PE department will be donated to charity this weekend. Any pupils who wish to check through lost and found items should do so today.

According to the recently-published list of the top performing state secondary schools in Scotland by The Times, Dalkeith High School is the top-ranked Midlothian secondary school with our nearest competitor ten places below us. The list has been compiled using data on attainment at Higher level supplied by Scottish Government and compares performance between schools with similar catchment areas.
Dalkeith High School has also made it into the top third of the table of all state secondary schools in Scotland – the only Midlothian school to do so.
