Message from the Headteacher – 22 December 2021

Dear Parents and Carers,
As the term comes to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your unstinting support throughout this most challenging of years.
I think it is important that we acknowledge the many achievements of the school against the backdrop of uncertainty throughout 2021.  From moving swiftly to online learning at the start of the year, to opening up the Hubs providing care for children of Key Workers, to supporting our senior phase pupils to success in their National Qualifications.  Not forgetting, of course, helping our new S1 pupils to settle quickly into the school without having experience of the normal transition arrangements. All has been achieved because we are the school community that we are: caring, resilient, resourceful.
I hope that all in our school community can now enjoy some time to relax and recharge.  We are all aware that we may be facing different challenges again in the new term but I know that we will face them together with the same fortitude that we have shown before.
Wishing all a Merry Christmas and all good wishes for 2022.
