Skills Development Scotland (SDS) School Careers Adviser
Our Careers Adviser, Barbara Moir, works in school during the week. Barbara’s usual days in School are Monday to Thursday where she can be found in the School Library.
Barbara works with students in all year groups and supports at key times such as transitions between year groups, course choice time and preparing to leave school at the end of either S4, S5 or S6. Feel free to contact Barbara via email to request information or an appointment at any time.

Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) Coordinator
Sam Lamond is our school DYW coordinator. Sam works closely with school staff and SDS colleagues to help plan, prepare and deliver whole school and bespoke opportunities that help students understand more about the world of work, the range of industries and sectors that are available to them and shares the most up-to-date information about the labour market. Sam also organises input from partners and businesses in PSE lessons to promote and develop employability opportunities and develop skills for work.
