What we do in Support for Learning:

The Support for Learning Department has both Support for Learning Teachers and Learning Assistants.  We support learners through BGE literacy and numeracy groups, paired reading, in class support and small group work.  We also support identified pupils through National Qualifications.   We screen for dyslexia and support pupils with alternative assessment arrangements (AAA) for SQA exams.

Lunch Club Details:

The Support for Learning Department runs a lunchtime club for young people who prefer to have a quieter lunchtime.  Activities such as board games, card games and chatting with other young people are on offer.

Independent learning, problem solving, working with others, numeracy and literacy.

Additional Information:

The Support for Learning Department supports the Enhanced Transition Programme for pupils in P7 who require a little bit more support to have a positive transition.
